FABRICE MONTEIRO

Born in Namur, Belgium, in 1972, Fabrice Monteiro is the son of a Beninese father and a Belgian mother and grew up in Benin. After studying industrial engineering, he worked in fashion, which brought him into contact with photography for the first time. Not surprisingly, his first experiences behind the lens came in the fashion world, though it was not long before he decided to tell a different story. The photographs of Fabrice Monteiro are a combination of photojournalism, fashion photography and tableau vivant. Fabrice lives and works in Dakar, Senegal.
